Personally Criswell ought to give priority to distance from the dealership. ( hint, hint)

I got on Mikes list in January 2017 after I learned the corvette would be mid engine. I told Mike I wanted the Z06 when it came out. He was not sure whether there would be a Z so he put me on the list for one of the so called high HP corvette variants when and if they got made. Based on my time stamp and Criswell’s allocation I’m hoping to have one next fall. Can’t wait to add this to my stable.

In other words, how many are on it by now, and how you can determine your position within it?
I bought my last 2018 zo6 from Joey at Criswell. I put a deposit of 1000 down in late July of 2019 for the zo6. I have a receipt with a number in the high 40s . I was told they do not and will not sell a Corvette over MSRP, that is not how they do business with there customers. So far they have been pretty honest and great to work with. Been waiting two years for this car, I hope its soon. I have owned several Corvettes, was on this Forum years ago. Just signed back up.

So I guess the real question is how many z06 allocations during the c7 years did criswell get? That’s the only way to guesstimate how long it will take is based on where we think we’re at on the list. Of course no guarantee it will be the same this time but it’s all we have to go on.

An engineer that was quoted during the launch stated that production capacity will easily exceed 30%. To me that sounds like 40%+ is a possibility. If that is the case the math is pretty easy to figure out. Of course supply chain issues are the true wild card here but if things do get back to normal by spring my guess is that if you are inside #400 on his list you will get a ‘23

I got on his list late (July of this year) and he did estimate that he had “around 600 files” which was good enough for me. A spring 24 delivery would work perfectly for my timeline.

That would be phenomenal, my best prediction was that he would get 200-250 Z06 allocations but they know the demand for this car is going to be crazy. I guess we will see.

I’m guessing 350 with a 10%(ish) dropout rate.

That is based on an $85-$90,000 starting price if the base price exceeds that the drop out rate incrementally climb based on how high that number is

If that’s the case a lot of us here would get a 2023 car. But why the disparity between Mikes 60% and your 10%? That’s quite a spread, and he’s been doing this a long time.

Mike takes your credit card info but does charge you until your allocation comes up. The amount charged is 1000.

He told me $1000 when the car is announced, and another $1000 when the allocation comes up and the order spec is placed in the system.

Now, I don’t know if he expected that the price would be announced when the car was revealed or not, nor wether he is waiting for the price announcement to take the first $1000?
So far crickets…

mike certainly has more knowledge and experience than I but I think the hype around this car is unrivaled and I suspect even if someone has an allocation filled at another dealer sooner or they have a change of heart for other reasons they would still buy the car to flip. This is assuming the base price comes in in the 80s

I've dealt with Criswell, and they are very honest and professional... but they can't waive magic wands and turn water into wine.

My bet is they will do as well as any other dealer, and you can be pretty comfortable that they are not jerking you around.

I've been on their Z06 list for 16 months, and they cannot give me a firm date, but that is not their fault... they just don't know any more than anybody else.

They told me I could order a 2022 Stingray, Dec delivery.... Put my order in today.... I'm probably looking at another 12-18 months for a Z06, and I just don't want to wait.

Nobody likes this situation, but I'd do business with them without hesitation....

I take it that Ciocca doesn't have a "list" so your position on their "list" is determined by how fast you can type tomorrow.

or how fast your bank and their bank processes wire transfers since they are using time stamp to determine that bank account is going to go from 0 to over $5m in minutes.

On Ciocca's website it states they are preserving ("will remain in place") Kerbeck's list.

I am sticking with Mike and Criswell. Everybody says they are the best. I been on the list since like May 2021. I hope a lot of people drop off but I think we are on the best list.

Looking at the line of people outside of Ciocca and it's like 1000 people! All those people got checks to deposit and they probably gonna get ahead of all the people doing wire transfers. It's probably better to call Mike and get on his list now, then trying to do a Ciocca move which is gonna be like 3k deep by the time your wire transfer goes though...but who knows...you might get lucky.

Mike is the better play though...
