If you plan on buying new, you'll have plenty of time to find out what the problems are as the waiting list to buy new is currently 3+ years.

2013 was the last model year of C6 production.
There was no Z06 model for the 2014 model year - that was the first year of C7 production and only the Stingray and Z51 models were released at that point.
2015 model year was the first year of C7 Z07 production.
