It does more than just reduce/eliminate lag. Honest question, have you used a throttle controller before and if so what brand and what car? As I mentioned previously I have used TC a few times on both stock and modified (fully tuned cars) and it makes a noticeable difference and its not a placebo effect like someone saying they "feel" a 5hp difference by swapping out an air filter.

When I finally snake my body into that ridiculously tight space I have no idea how I could fit a recording device in there with me!

I’ve extensively modified cars before but I don’t believe I’ve used a throttle controller so maybe there’s more to it than I realize …

It does do more than eliminate lag. It speeds throttle response through a much wider range of pedal movement. But I agree that in Sport mode (I didn't try track) the throttle response of the Z06 is much better than the Stingray.

Again I have yet to try on the Z as I want to get through break in first but I cannot imagine it’s going to help like previous cars I have had it on.
