I’ve had both in C8 Z06. Bottom line:

1. Both are rattle free
2.HTC has rear window to put down and very easy to retract roof effortlessly. Now offers engine bay window in back but doesn’t look very good and requires you to retract roof halfway to see it which is next to useless.
3. Looks are subjective but I prefer the lines of the coupe especially from the rear end
4. The coupe is over 100lbs lighter and does offer some performance advantages although not significant.
5. the coupe has the engine bay which can be seen from the inside and outside
6. the coupe still allows you to remove the roof manually but definitely not as effortlessly.
7. There are fewer coupes built
8. If you’re getting a Z07 then the coupe is the purest example from a performance standpoint.
9. You do lose the back storage trunk when storing the roof in the coupe but you still have the frunk and I use my vette more as a toy anyways.
10. I like them both and hard to choose in the end. But imo if going non Z06 then I’d likely go HTC. If going with Z07 and carbon everything including wheels the coupe is the way to go.

This is why I think 1LZ is the way to go. Lightest weight.
