Figured I jump in, my name is Travis and we just joined in as a supporting vendor. One of our main motivators to join was to introduce a line up for the Corvette platforms using Magnesium forgings. We Currently in the works of adding our threads in the forum so look out for them. We are also interested in offering discounted prices for a few models that we want to start promoting, We obviously we want to get to know members and see what each person is looking for. In all honesty any design you have seen can be built in a magnesium forged construction so I’m hoping we can be of some help as well. Below is an image of our most popular and lighter model MG09 which is available in both 6061-T6 forging or Magnesium.
sorry guys don’t mean to high jack. Look out for our threads, say hello and we hope to gain your support.
welcome! I’m curious what are we looking at for say a 19x12 and say 19x10 wheel price point in magnesium?
Augment Wheels out of Canada. Ordered my 2nd set of Forged Magnesium wheels from them (last one was for a TTRS). The 19x9 TT RS GA1R replicas came in around 17lbs and had higher than factory load ratings (per request). He could have made them lighter and shaved more weight. Never had a single issue with them. Ordered a similar set for my C8 Z06 two days ago. 10-12 week lead time, give them a shout and ask for Dan Pye. Their prices are unbeatable and they have a reputation in the Porsche circles. Forged 20/21 is around $7k USD shipped.
I wouldnt go near Carbon Fiber with a ten foot pole. No warranty, much more expensive, easy to damage, but they are pretty.
i checked with them I guess you guys got the last 19x12 sets they are discontinuing the size . Can only do 19x11 now

Augment looks good, so if they are discontinuing, bummer!
Travis here guys, not fully ready to show the link since we are adding a few more designs in the coming days, prepping the new 2025 collection but since their is a need I would like to introduce my self and some of our wheels that are also available in a magnesium forged Build, I offered a client earlier today a discounted promotional price as we definitely would love some marketing material . If interested please send me a dm or email directly at sales@mpmodularwheels.com
We do offer 19” set ups up to 12.5 wide
and for the standard sizes we do offer the 20/21 but with better off sets compared to stock yet you can still do the next wider tire option .
Renders of the Forged Magnesium OEM-size wheels are in. Super excited! GA1R Open Lug style in Gloss Black, ready for OEM center caps and with full bead knurling. 20x10, 21x13

Wish I had your wheel budget. Those will look fantastic! Any idea on weights?
One Thing I noticed and mind you this is with us using all of our resources with the many suppliers that we have dealt with over 15 years is that the forging for magnesium are very limited in off set ranges, all forge wheels can only be cut using the limits of the forging block and while we can do stock sizes like 20x10/21x13 the smaller sizes are way limited.
as of right now ( at least for MP Modular wheels ) we can build Magnesium forged wheels of just about any design for C6/C7 and C8 Corvette applications. Here is a quick list of which cars we can do with proper specs.
C6/C7 Narrow body and Wide body
18/19, 19/19 and 19/20 set up C8 Corvette Stingray Narrow body
18/18, 18/19, 19/19, 19/20 and 20/21 C8 Corvette Wide body Z06
heres the limitations
the fronts we can do proper low off set 19x9.5 and even a 19x10 or oem 20x10
the rears are the problem
if your doing 19" rears the 19x12 lowest possible off set is 30et ( still works just will be sunk in by 3mm compared to stocks )
the 19x11.5 25et ( puts you in the same place )
19x11 20et and 19x10.5 12et
If the plan is to use the wheels for track and lower your weight then the 19x12 30et and a front 19x9.5 or 10 is perfect.
but if your looking for cosmetics as in a flush fitment more than you are looking for weight savings then I recommend standard 6061-t6 forged
Here’s a new one for you guys. These 2 new models can be Built in both 6061-T6 forged and Magnesium
I usually don’t add prices but just for kicks I’ll put down a quick estimate for both options.
