I used the Cicio Performance front collars but on the new Z06 w/ Z07 that I ordered I decided to pass on the front lift.
Cool, on my 2020 C8 I lowered on factory Coilovers non front lift, but my new Z06/Z07 came with front lifts and I will use collars. I would of opt out of this option cause the Z has to get lowered…
For those of you that have lowered your cars, with and without the front lift. Did you have to do an alignment afterward? I'm considering lowering mine now.

Yes, I did an alignment after and it turned out great.
Ive not done mine yet, but IMO lowering springs are the way to go. No messing with the collars. Paragon has some 1" lowering springs available now.
I understand that they are a lot stiffer. Did your ride change much after you installed them? I'll assume you also needed to do an alignment with this setup?

I have not lowered mine yet. I just mentioned that is what I think would be a better method instead of screwing around with the collars.
I am planning on lowering my z06 without a front lift. Anything else I need besides that wrench?
Also any suggestions on where to buy/size of the wrench. Thanks!
It'll depend what your roads are like as well. Smooth roads? Crap roads? My Lexus is lowered and has solid lower control arm bushings. Here in Tampa its fine. If I were up north...NFW.
Stock height on Corvettes, 911s, etc. always looks appropriate to me and not anything that I would alter. the engineers know far more about ride height here which is damn low to begin with than I do.
Lowered cars always look like an old Benz with busted air suspension.
Springs and collars will have you dumped into the weeds on the front.
lol. I was under the impression that lowering collars are needed to maintain front lift functionality. So I’m guessing based off of ChevyChad’s post that lowering with just springs allows for front lift function?

It’s actually more work changing the springs than installing collars. And I’d imagine GM would end up voiding warranty on anything that happens related to any parts touched during that swap, on all four corners. Lol Where the collars just possibly void front lift.
Use some double sticky tape to hold 4 Styrofoam 1" thick pucks just before the front tires and just after the rear tires.
Drive around for a week.
Measure how much of the Styrofoam is left.
You can lower you car by the minimum of the 4 pads minus ¼"
