Great Question! I had the option of waiting, but dealer would not PDI the car without them, so I decided I would just install them myself vs. bringing the car back to the dealer and having to pay to have them installed.....In retrospect, The right thing to do from a dealer perspective would be to install these at the dealer's expense (or GM's expense) once they came in from back order, but that was not an option....I am good with it, as I will be doing other mods that will require the front bumper to be removed...

I received an email from Chevy that states ----- your 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is headed to your dealership. Once it arrives, your dealer will perform a final evaluation to ensure every detail meets your expectations. Does this mean it is at status code 4200 - Vehicle Shipped? I talked to my salesman yesterday and he said they should get it in 10 days, but if it's already shipped then I'm thinking by Friday at the latest.

Deposit at Dealership - 2 Nov 2021
1100 - Order Placed at Dealership - 15 Dec 2023
2000 - Order Accepted by Chevrolet - 20 May 2024
3000 - Order Accepted by Production Control - 22 May 2024
3100 - Order Available to be Sequenced - 29 Jun 2024 - TPW is 6/17
3300 - Order Scheduled for Production - 10 June 2024
3400 - Order Broadcast - 10 June 2024
3800 - Vehicle Produced - 21 Jun 2024

Looks like mine is now scheduled to start production Friday 6/28 then sit for a week during plant shutdown and then finish up Monday 7/8. So a Friday/Monday car with vacation in between. What could possibly go wrong!

Ouch, that really stinks. I'm thinking I will be in a similar boat as you but not quite as bad. Mine is scheduled for production sometime this week. I'm thinking it will sit next week for the holiday awaiting QC before it is released to ship. I'm checking the tracker every day hoping mine was produced early enough this week to clear QC and possibly ship next week because I heard shipping does not shut down for the whole week. Fingers crossed!

Do you have the last 4 of your VIN yet? If so you can use Roger Kiel's daily tracker and have a better idea of when your Z is going to be built. My TPW is 7/8, my last 4 is 8144 and according to the tracker I should be built on 7/10, as of today.

That's awesome! Mine got pushed back into August. Might pass at this point and get one come spring. No reason to take the hit from both the ZR1 announcement and it sitting all winter without being able to drive it.

You may want to stay steady and keep it as the prices will most likely be lower in August and you wont have to pay the increase on the MY25. Not to mention you may be waiting even longer as the constraints started again.

Thanks for adding that chart! Looks like my VIN (8160) should be built on July 11th.

Friday wasn't very productive so it looks like we got bumped a day but at least we're on track for our TPW.

August will be here before you know it. You might want to consider the price increase for the 25 Model Year.
