Confirmed my build went to 3400 this week with a build date sometime next week, spoke with my salesperson asking for the Vin # and what he sent over only had 6 digits and then ending in Z06 Convertible
is this normal.

Ask your salesperson to ask his sales manager. At 3400 your entire 17 digit VIN is known. At my dealership the sales manager has more access than the salespeople whereas he could see the VIN and they can’t.

All 2024 Z06's will have the following VIN format.

1G1YE2D37R56xxxxxx

Sequence Number = Code Description

1 = Country of Origin: 1 = USA

2 = Manufacturer: G = GM

3 = Make of car: 1 = Chevrolet

4 = Car Line or Series: Y = Y-body series (Corvette)

5 = Corvette Specific information Model/Equipment (Still Decoding as data become available) 9=NON USA/CANADA

6 = Body style: 2 = Coupe, 3 = Convertible

The seventh digit is a randomly generated check number. Followed by R56 and then your six digits.

If you share your last four digits i can give you your full VIN #.

You will not be able to figure out the 9th digit. THAT is the check digit. It can be anything from 0-9 or X. The VIN also specifies if it’s a 1LZ, 2LZ or 3LZ. You need to know that as well.

5th digit of the VIN specifies trim level.
D = 1LZ
E = 2LZ
F = 3LZ

With the last four digits it’s just a matter of looking up the VIN on C8 Tracker..
