Your right foot. These cars have plenty of mid-range for normal street driving. Way overblown. Quarter throttle is moving faster than 99% of NPCs on the road.
If I had to pick just one from that list, for me it would be easy, high flow cats. Not only do they gain quite a bit as we've seen from both Fabspeed and Milltek, but also make it sound more gooder.
I'm not sure about TB, but when I do my HFC one of these days, I will probably do a CAI along with it. If it's gonna breathe out better, would make sense to help it breathe in better too!

That is my thought too. Granted I am coming out of the 718 GT4, which had 317 Lb ft. and you really had to drive that car above 5K to get really good acceleration, but above 3K in the Z06 and you have plenty on tap if you go deep into the throttle.
In fact for me, it is a bit of a dilemma, as there is so much more TQ lower down than what I am used to, that I have a hard time flooring it and redlining it because it is so fast and whines out so quickly.
Something else. An E-ray or a Tesla. If you want torque the Z is the wrong car
it just seems to have a flat spot when it downshifts and tries to accelerate. After it gets some rpm it starts hauling but the delay/flat spot is annoying.

Drive it in manual mode. Zero delay unless you are at a low point/under 5k.

Yep, this fixes that delay issue.
Coming from a Porsche PDK, I do find that the tremic isn't quite as seamless when left to its own devices. However manual mode fixes that.
My only issue with manual mode so far is that since this motor revs so quickly and with little resistance, I tend to hit the redline cut-off before shifting when quickly accelerating. I am discovering, that you really need to start the process when the tach. is reading around 7K.

use your ear instead, works better than tachometer

only right answer. I have Soler TB's and Milteek cats in a box ready to go. Waiting on Haltech dynos before pulling the trigger on a CAI. Right now i'm leaning toward Corsa.

Just keep the engine above 4,500 RPMs. Easy to do with DCT.
Side note: I will admit …. In 2nd gear @ 3500 rpm’s in manual mode and floor it … it pulls like a 1997 vette and then the car will start coming on as the rpm’s increase, obviously the higher the better it becomes to enjoy. It goes from an older vette to a race car within 3 seconds or less.
I do that for fun sometimes just to feel where the power starts climbing
HF Cats & Intake - best bang for your buck on these cars IMO. I've noticed an improvement in the seat-of-the-pants with the cars that we've built, plus the sound is epic.
Wouldn't really bother with Headers/Exhaust unless you're after every last bit of power/weight savings.
I'm a dealer/installer for Milltek, SOUL, Corsa, Eventuri etc with some in stock.
Would be happy to put together a package deal too.
