Default Active wing

I bought my '23 when all the aero was unobtanium and have been living with a bit of mid corner oversteer. I don't know whether I got in under the wire or I'm in for trouble but I had an active Victor wing installed on my Z in early November before they closed up shop. I added a front splitter and canards to balance out the added rear downforce. My last club day was 11/17 but on the way to the track to test it out I got a call that my wife was in a bad accident and totaled her '25 BMW, luckily she got off with aches and pains and I learnt how many airbags new cars have as every single one went off.
1st real test will have to wait until April and the only video I have is this.
I guess I don't know how to attach video as it seems to be only an unusable link.

Glad to hear she's OK! I'd love to see a couple vids of that in action on the track, and see what you think.

Whoa that's cool. I think it's a shame there's no active aero option for the C8. Of course, even if it was, it would be on constraint and no one would have it anyway. LOL

Maybe C9...

Is this a set and forget deal or would you adjust it on each lap when you need it? Interesting that it tilts rather than raises up and down...how does that work.

We preprogrammed it with 5 set points based on GPS data. Theoretically it's near flat at WOT and on rapid deceleration it tilts to steepest angle for air braking and then the 3 set points between are for lighter braking and acceleration based on a built in algorithm. I can also push a button on the controller which fixed it flat for street driving. In my mind it's all theory until the rubber meets the road. When track reopens in spring I'll get a rear facing camera on it and we'll fine tune it from there.

That’s cool, look forward to the track test video next time and glad your wife is ok.
