I know the OEM LT6 oil already is a pretty high standard and the change intervals should be adequate, but anyone think it would help or hurt to add some Liqui Moly CeraTec?
I wouldn’t add any additives to my oil and I believe most experts and other forum members would also advise against it. I’d say the best thing you could do would be to change the oil more frequently than the OLM if you’re looking for longevity.
The Mobil1 5W-50 oil was made specifically for the LT6 with an additive package for the LT6. I would NOT add anything to it, just not worth the risk, what could possibly be gained by doing so?

What I've heard is that you should be worried about clashing but the CeraTec is well proven to work. I do use it in my other car and it seems to make a little bit of a difference. I do agree that the best you can do is to get an oil that already has some of the same type of Moly additives formulated into the oil. Why I hesitate to add it to the LT6, but when my other car takes some bulk synthetic oil from the dealer I think it does help.
I am assuming Macmulkin which is where I service, is using the OEM Mobil oil.

He has proven with fact and science that it is not advisable to add anything to your oil especially to an $$$$ LT6. Anyone can do what they want and is their choice.
I would hope that all dealerships put the correct oil in the Z06.
