Both of those had a market adjustment of $100,000 added.
$100K is a pittance for a porsche, as saw their 911 track-ready variant, sorry do not know the model type as not a fan, at Braman in WPB about 3 years ago, the ADM was $250K and the sales dood told me the final bid price would exceed that.
Nice car, but for that money you should get a fully functional front passenger seat.

I'm on the list at Rick Hendrick's City Chevrolet and there has been no mention of that. The last two ZO6s I bought there have been MSRP.

I agree, I hope for everyone's sake they get this straightened out. I'm am expecting that the dealership I am working with is going to honor promises and would be quite honest shocked if they didn't. I think the greed is going to be there...but I really don't think that would come from Rick Hendrick more so from the individual dealership managers. I mean every man gets to a point and time in their life where your legacy is much more important than your bank account. Rick could not spend his fortune in 10 lifetimes so I think ultimately he will force the hand (if necessary) to the dealerships to do the right thing so his name is not damaged.

I agree, my Hendrick Chevy dealer in Charlotte has been up-front and a pleasure to deal with.

I'm also on the list at City Chevrolet, though they didn't tell me how many were on it, they just took my information and said I'd get a call from the manager when it was time to order. I also asked about them selling at MSRP, they told me, yes, they will be sold at MSRP. Hope that's still the case.

Nice car, but for that money you should get a fully functional front passenger seat.
That was more than likely the 911 GT2RS, selling for $500K+ (MSRP around $295K), with only about 200 available to purchase in US for a whole generation/cycle. If you saw the GT2RS Clubsport, then the price was even more than $600K, and only about 5 or 6 were available in US. More than 50% of them were bought by flippers or people that realized it was too much to handle, so after a while, they all started selling them all at once, bringing prices down to almost MSRP...
BTW, the 911 GT2RS is the car that was riding along the test Z06's (the other benchmark car used was the Ferrari 458). So, we are in great company.
Thank goodness GM will make way more Z06's than that in just the first month , so that we can all get to enjoy world-class performance, for a quarter of the cost.
But because the volume will be way higher, the appreciation will more than likely not be there after couple of years. Give and take, right?

Happy New Year, everybody!

I couldn't agree more, and I hope all RH dealerships will go by that.
And it is good to see your relationships and experience being positive over all these years.

Yeah it has been nothing but positive (thus far) that is why I am at a loss of words for this Duluth situation.

Could be a rogue manager or salesman?

Come on...Rick is VERY clear on this in post #114
The "accessory package" is a Hendrick Duluth thing, NOT a City Chevrolet in Charlotte thing.

that's life, move on and find a MSRP dealership. It's business, not personal.

One of my friends told me a story about when the Ford Bronco first hit, he saw a Kia dealer auction off 10 brand new ones at Manheim. The dealer used family members to acquire the allocations at different Ford dealerships. Through that process, he gamed the system and made a quick, easy $400,000. Good thing those stealerships didn’t mark those Broncos up or he wouldn’t have been able to clip that big gain.

Personally, I think cars should transact for what they are worth. Everything else transacts for what it’s worth, houses, guns/ammo, hotel rooms, a good bottle of scotch, etc, why shouldn’t cars transact for what they are worth? Has anyone gone furniture shopping lately? Or bought a pack of bacon? A deal is a deal, and anyone that has a signed MSRP deal on a Z06 should get one for MSRP. That said, I never begrudge a business for wanting to legally and ethically maximize their revenue. I certainly wish to maximize my position whenever possible.
