When I got on the list almost 2 years ago MM estimated they would get around 220 allocations per year, or 18 a month, so I'm not sure why some are surprised that they only got 6 in the first round when GM has been emphasizing for months that this would be a slow roll out.

6 down, 185 to go. It's slow but it's starting to feel real!

I have a hard time believing that the Z, which is not that dissimilar to a Stingray, can only be built at 1/10 the rate as a Stingray for an entire year. I am confident the 10% rate will increase as we get further into the model year...JMO.

I had a hard time believing that the Z, which is not that dissimilar to a Stingray, would start at $106k and option out to over $170k… higher than a maxed out C7 ZR1. Basically, I don’t know what to believe anymore. Do you honestly believe they can sustain traditional Z06 production and sales volume at these numbers? Constraints are definitely a factor, but I’m starting to believe they may have pivoted in more ways than one with this Z06… perhaps in an effort to push people to Eray.

I believe they will exceed 10% this model year and each year thereafter so long as demand is there...I am much less confident of 30%+ however. I also believe the CF wing will be constrained to some degree for a long time and that the majority of Zs built wont have it.

It could just be prolonged parts shortages of something specific to the Z06, but I’m starting to worry it might have more to do with mpg, and GM’s recent commitments to electric. Which I think might be what Jockitch is alluding to as well.

Down to 109 from 115 on the MM list
MM told me, they have reached out to first 30 on list
20 more by next week, to total the first 50 customers contacted. What that means, who knows. They are probably just feeling out their first 50 builds from their list. Filling customers in on availabilities and constraints etc. Just my guess.
I personally want a Z07
