Burning Brakes
Well just got thru the process of working a deal for a very loaded desirable Z07 for 9k over. It just arrived at dealer yesterday as stock, blk/blk, 3lz, front lift, all exposed carbon; roof, aero, ground, interior pack 2, engine appearance, wheels. Here’s my experience with the latest on ADMs:
Most are asking 35-75 over for cars on the lot when first questioned. Further negotiating resulted in finalists at (3) 20 over, (1) at 25, and the one I went for at 9K (no fluff markup options or dealer adds).

Grew up in North Dakota lived in Minnesota before moving to Pennsylvania 35 years ago. Very familiar with MN nice and still visit with family in MN. I now make fun of some of the MN things (atleast with my wife since she grew up in the Stillwater area). As a younger person I used to listen to "How to Talk Minnesotan" as my wife used to work for a company affiliated with MN Public Radio/Prairie Home Companion and Garrison Keillor.

There's a 2LZ at Cornerstone in Monticello, MN. They are $10k over MSRP. Manager said it is "desirable", but would go down a little to "keep the car local". LOL

The Z-06 is on its way, well summer 2022. So many asked to let them know when they can order, well we are taking orders. I am sending to everyone who bought a new C8 from to make sure I alert folks. We do not expect many, (And we are a top 10 Corvette dealer) so only taking a couple orders. No it will not be cheap, $50k over MSRP and expect that to sky rocket once they get close to production like the C8 did when it started.
Here is the deal, an order locks in a price of $50k over MSRP, and $5k non refundable partial payment and you are at the top of the list. And yes you can trade your C8 in. (We do not have any pricing info on the Z06 yet. My response (blah blah blah the sky is falling ) no thanks reeder you can keep the Z06

I was just looking at Autotrader for C8 Z06s out of curiosity to see how many they listed. 657 listed nationwide at the time of this post. When I checked mid April it had reached 600. They are piling up.

I did a random sampling of the 275 new Z06's (1LZ thru 3LZ coupe/HTC) listed on Car Gurus and came up with these (dealer names omitted).
One dealer in GA and one in WI at $25K over.
One dealer each in FL, MI, and two in CA at $20K over.
One dealer in KY and one in IL at $15K over.
Five dealers in CA, two in OH, one each in PA and MS at $10K over.
One in MD at $5K over and one in TX at $1K over.
The mark ups are still out there but nowhere near what they were.
