Last time a model changed mid run was 2005/2006, IIRC.

I can only see a new interior if GM plans on extending the life of the C8 beyond 2028/29

You know what would be welcome changes? All suede steering wheel option for the 3LZ; and all CF steering wheel option too. Suede door, dash and roof panels (etc) for all MF insert interior options. An SCG dipped option. Non-contrast stitching option for non jet-black interiors. RGB accent lighting option. Moving the OnStar button to be inside the glove box so that you can't accidentally hit it when going for another button on that panel. Allowing for recording from the rear camera. Adding more items to stealth interior trim so it all matches. Allowing for the HTC top to go up with the remote (without an aftermarket fix). Thermal insulating the trunk from the factory. Side intake grille guards as factory option. etc.
Hell, if they do move "Wall o buttons" you can still put physical buttons in the center console. Just move the shifter and drive selector to the left of the steering wheel.

RapidC84B;1607662105]Yeah my car was a very late 23 so it had the latest stuff. No issues yet in 5K miles other than a leaking door and some bad paint spots. Mechanically she's been good so far, but I did have the first service done at 2,600 miles.
Wondering what your "bad paint spots" were. I have some on my Z06 and wanted to compare before bringing my car next Monday to my dealer.
Thanks

My rear hatch is also over to the driver side a bit to where the left side gap is half that of the right side gap; annoys me. Rest of the car is pretty decent vs. my other C8s as far as doors fitting and hood/fender alignment. But my front bumper center grill wouldn't snap in place and dealer had to fix it from behind w/ zip ties. It was that or replace/repaint whole fascia.
This is why I'm tracking the crap out of it and it's covered in rubber marks... because trying to have a "nice" Chevy never works for me, so I'd rather have a fast Chevy.

I have found 5 factory denib/buffer spots and 2 pieces of trash they couldn't buff. When you tour the plant they make a big deal about how amazing the paint plant is (it's truly amazing) but then at the end of the line there's a "corrections bay" filled with cars getting buffed on. They don't polish out the buffer marks, just just hit it with compound and leave a buffer spot about the size of an egg each time. The two trash bits were on body lines at the top of the door by the belt molding that can't be buffed due to the sharp edge. Detail got the two out that were covered by PPF and said he'd do the others when I brought it back for ceramic which I haven't yet because I wasn't 100% sure I was keeping car long term. He can't mess w/ the 2 trash spots, but he can get the other buffer spots out.

For over $100k, heck for over $60k, none of his issues should be present. The performance of the car has absolutely nothing to do with the quality (or lack thereof) of the fit & finish.

LOL...Name another car in that $60k to $100k price range in the market place that has the same performance as the C8Z06 that doesn't have quality issues like paint flaws...I'll wait.
