problem with another member
I posted a thread showing a video of me doing a burnout at Larsfest in C3 general a few days ago, and there is this fellow member harrassing me, through posts. I want you to fully read the thread and post your thoughts in the thread for me. This guy "turtlevette" is being a complete ****, and I have reported him to the moderators to no avail. Their stance is no stance, slap us both on the wrist even though I have done nothing wrong. I told the moderators that I didn't appreciate being called a "hoser" because I am Canadian, and I can only imagine the repercussions if I called an American a slang term referring to their nationality! if you read his profile you will see why he is jealous ,his mods include a bad paint job and a pitted windshield,bet that helps him lite up the tires.
as far as name calling, by his quote(you ain't in highschool now),you mean he still calls names and he's not in high school? In the real world when you make fun of a person or their nationality,you have to sleep with one eye open, i bet he would change his attitude if you lived next door to him.
seems some people don't have anything usefull to say, so they just like to hear themselves talk.
why some of the regulars on this site get away with trolling(not troll hunting)is a mystery to me,usually people get banned for trying to start an arguement.
try making fun of americans and see how long you last...

Bruce, for the mods to tell you both to stop bickering is the chickensh*t way to deal with a guy like turtle. He has a right to his opinion and a right to state it, what he doesn't have a right to do is insult you, the rest of us who were there too, and all Canadians by calling us "hosers". Maybe once turtle has the surgery to remove the pickle he'll realize that people don't have to agree but we can still treat each other with respect. Oh and by the way since I was there I can say this NICE BURNOUT!!!!!

Maybe not the most brilliant of advice, but try to not let it get you. You did nothing wrong, the way I see it 99.9% of the forum is behind you.
Don't run the risk of possibly being banned by the mod's for a pissing match, even if not started by you.
On the other hand, let's get togther for some more burn outs and post to our hearts content

I know! Everyone has a right to their opinion but this guy offered no opinion, just insults for no apparent reason! I wonder what would happen to me if I stated in a thread that "all Americans are ignorant about everything that is not American"? What do you think would happen? I can only imagine! 
Now he has taken to insulting Les (AGVI) in the same thread because Les has stood up for me! I have PM'd the moderators again about this. Please post in the "burnout" thread your thoughts about this guy, but don't stoop to his immature level of insults.

Hmmmmm, just about lunch time....I think I will cook up some back bacon while wearing my touqe and lumberjacket,and wash it down with a Canadian! Sounds good ,eh?

I do not think that you need todo anything here. Just ignor. From the posts he has made himself look very bad and a complete dumb a$$. If he keeps going...he is just drawing more negative attention to himself not you. If the PM's keep arriving tell him that you are going to start posting them for all of us to see. But don't respond to anything from him, or her(not sure which)
