I would be interested in seeing what my supercharged small block 71 will do if it is sometime in October. That is when I will be back in town.

I think I might like to try this and if I blow my D33 it gives me the
winter to change over to a D44.

I drive the car to work most days, weather is too nice to park it and take it apart.
I'll likely do the headers and the torque converter together.
Just waiting for the gaskets and the new header bolts to arrive and I have everything else here for the header job.

Yes of course you are right from a D36 to a D44. I was not yet awake when I posted. But I still think this would be a grate thing to do for the experience, as I have none.

I called TMP today and here are the dates. Sept. 16 is test and tune and the F body boy's are going to be there, sounds like fun to me. The other 2 dates are Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 which is the day that a Corvette club will be there. All three sound good to me. They would like me to let them know how many Vettes can be expected, so lets pick a date or 2.
