I dont even want to get going on politics, it can lead to a scary discussion amongst us all I'm sure...
..."do you vote for someone you think can actually do something or do you vote to keep the worst of the candidates out, or do you not vote and just shut up?"
http://www.petitiononline.com/smurfdvd/petition.html
If you still want to sign the petition, the next question you should ask yourself is why it would be a good thing to fail to pay down $127 million of debt, when we know we have to pay it in the end, and if we delay payment, we pay more interest?
In short, there are a lot more important things to worry about (like 66 sq.km. of ice falling off Ellesmere Island). AFAIC, z06cab's petition makes a lot more sense.
But, like Dennis Miller used to say - it's just my opinion, I could be wrong...
Michael in T.O.

If you were out for dinner one day, and saw your investment broker sitting having lunch, and found out that he paid his $225 bill out of your investment account, would you shrug your shoulders, or would you say, wonder what he is doing when I don't see him? I think it is safe to say that a shrug would not be a common reaction. The most common answer will be, it depends how much he made me last year... How much did civil servants do for us last year, to earn the right to rip us off this way?
