Oh I don't care if this gets moved closed or whatever but this UPS to Canada is just ****'N murder..Anyone work for UPS on here stop reading
I send my rim to the OEM to have what I believe is a warranty repair but they only cover a portion OK, I can live with that the I tell them to fix my rim and then ship USPS because these UPS folks should were a mask when they rob you...Then I would feel that I had been kissed before they rob you...they shipped UPS ...then the fun begins ...I now owe a total of 154bucks in GST PST Brokerage fees uncle Tom Cobly and all....
A nice lass calls and walks me thru just lines of BULLSHYTE script to tell me that you must send the full amount or be prosecuted but they will send a form to resubmit the amounts if you feel wronged....
Reminder to NEVER use UPS to Canada as this is not my first a$$ whuppin I have had at the UPS boys hands, I just can't seem to get across to vendors how this just pisses me off, and the fact when you tell em shi USPS ...they say OK and they still send it UPS.
Ok Rant off
I think I will go have a few pints with those Eastend mobsters and be happy to be doin so....Thx for reading

I once sued UPS in small claims court, won, garnished their bank account, served the garnishment myself on the 20th floor of the RBC gold tower down town, and after threatening physical violence, The check was sent and cashed.
Ian: i feel ur pain mine is worst i bought brand new trunk mat and other small goodies, and instead of USPS, they sent thru UPS and UPS driver deliver at wrong address, and even after 1 month i have no delivery and cant do any ****, iam going to call them million times and each time they had to listen to my ****, until i be arrested.
UPs canada should shut their operation here, point blank period.
They did the same thing few months ago charge me brokerage fees for a $50 item, i fight them and gladly they sent me refund. They listened to my chit so many times i cant count anymore. Bastards.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have been ripped off by UPS. I think these brokerage charges are a scam. I understand brokerage charges as I do alot of importing, but I think they try to double dip, charge both the sender & receiver of the goods, and if one complains enough they refund their money.
I do everything I can to avoid using UPS.
UPS is a bloody rip off. I won't buy anything anymore that can't be shipped via the USPS, unless there is absolutely no choice and I can't get what I need anywhere else.

The sad thing is that whether it be eBay or Corvette Central or Corvette America; there is just so much more product in the United States than we have here in Canada. Even with the lousy dollar, 9 times out of 10, it's cheaper to go south than shop here.
But, unless you have a relative / friend in a border town or you ship it to a storage facility in a border town, you are going to get nailed by those brutal UPS charges.
Carlisle offers temporary relief to the pain, but only if you know what you need before heading down. If a part breaks down in September; the Carlisle solution disappears.
Maybe we are better off paying a bit more locally and not give UPS the business!!!
If a Corvette vendor stateside won't ship any other way to Canada but with UPS, I simply move on to someone else who will.
Can always ship to UPS in Niagara Falls NY... then drive down there, pick up... maybe have a bite to eat, some shopping, then return home. Most of the time, they'll wave you through at the border... no taxes / no brokerage fees! Not necessarily convenient for all though!
I along with many others here use CBI in Niagara Falls NY. They are a couple minutes drive from the border and are AMAZING people to deal with. I have used them several times now and could not be happier. I learned my lesson from UPS after they charged me $350 for a set of $1000 rims. I swore to never use them again and I haven't.

1st reason?
the guy I bought the stuff from first said FedEX, sent it UPS.

the guy I bought the stuff from put down a value a lot more than what he should have.
3rd reason?
he said the mistake was the counter clerk's
4th reason?
UPS needs him to fax a bunch of ****e over to them, before they can do anything to fix the molestation they pulled on me.
Let me tell you, I paid that UPS ignorance price ONCE, and that was LONG ago...only to have it creep up on me again (albeit unexpectedly)
Funny thing was I wasn't home and the UPS guy got tipped as well because he didn't carry any change with him.
I feel your pain dude...I feel your pain.
Come hell or high water, I'm not letting them off the hook...
I had the same thing happen to me with a couple carbs had to contact the seller to fax a letter with a revised amount and UPS refunded SOME of the fees (second time for this)
