How is everyone maintaining their leather seats?
How about saddle soap to clean , and then finish with mink oil ?

Try the number below and see....
Given what the underside of Bruce's car looks like - one must be able to perform open-heart surgery on the top-side
Last week I picked up a 200 gram bar of clay at the Meguiar's warehouse in Mississauga for $20 cash. Their number is 905 670 5580- call ahead if you are headed there - this tip was passed on by somebody last year....can't remember who. www.meguiarscanada.com
The Meguiar's clay-bar kit sells for $28 at Can Tire but it only includes a tiny 80-gram clay bar, a bottle of detailer and a tiny 4 oz bottle of wax - so the $20 for a much larger clay bar is a good deal.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a couple of clay bars only? I've got plenty of detailing spray, rags etc....
I've looked at Crappy Tire, Parts Source and Walmart..but have come up empty handed. All I can find is the kits.
Thanks in advance

Bill, why are you worried about which detailing products to use, you're going to sell or trade in the vette you currently have in 3 months anyways!
Couldn't resist that one!
washing: Simple green car wash
exterior quick detailer: Mothers showtime instant detailer
interior vinyl: Mother's preserves protectant
interior leather: Meguiars Gold Class Leather wipes
tires: Meguiars Hot shine tire spray
wax: Mothers carnauba wax
stainless/aluminum/chrome polishing: Wicked metal polish, Wicked myst metal maintainer, Bue Magic liquid metal polish, Mothers powerball mini and full size powerball
stainless/aluminum scratch removal: Mothers powerball mini md with Mothers scratch removal polish
glass: Stoners invisible glass
carpet: Turtle wax power out carpet cleaner
secret weapon all purpose cleaner: Spray nine cleaner
I usually go through at least a gallon of Spray Nine in a driving season! It is hands down the best cleaner I have ever used. I use it on the paint, tires, rims, and all my chrome and polished metal. It removes road grime, oil, grease, brake dust, and just about anything else you can think of with absolute ease! If you are familiar with my car, then you know it is detailed to a very high level, including the entire undercarriage, and Spray Nine is how I do it and keep it that way. The only thing to remember when using it is do not let it dry on the surface you have sprayed it on.
The undercarriage of my vette for reference:

I am Zaino guy myself. Love their stuff. I have tried many other brands over the years especially for paint and for me, nothing comes close to Zaino. Nothing.
I have used Meguiars 101 and 201 compounds in the past to correct paint defects with allot of success but I have always gone back with Zaino as the top coat. I love how you can layer Zaino products over and over again on top of each other continuously enhance the look of your paint with out having to completely strip and re wax. It also lasts a long time compared to a product like Autoglym which doesnt last at all. But we wont talk about those guys since my rim indecent. lol Definitely not using any of their products again but I have also used their car washes and tire dressings and with ok results.
I do sometimes miss my Zymol car wash, then I found Zaino and all was good again. Try them out if you haven't, its really hard to mess up with their product and its easy on easy off.
I use never dull on my chrome.
I try to stay away from products on my interior vinyl and leather, I do not like slippery surfaces in the car, nor shinny ones. I am going to try to the Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss this year for the first time, non oil based and dries to satin finish. If it looks good on the exterior rubber/vinyl, I will use it inside as it also has UV protectors in it.
I love their Z6 detail spray and am really interested in their newer Z8 grand finale spray as an enhance to the Z6 but my car is no show car and it seems like overkill for daily use.
Actually trying to get a hold of Mike at Zaino right now before I place my order.
I'd recommend their show car kit to star with. You will not be disapointed.
