Default clutch replacement

Hello, I will be doing a clutch upgrade this spring on my 99 and needing info on which clutch to get as well as other things I should do while I have it apart. My motor is not stock so I am thinking a stage 2 clutch of some sort. Also wondering where to get it that has the best prices.
Thanks

We recommend the Spec clutch. Please call us for model base on your power level.

Alot of folks have been having good luck with the Centerforce DFX and the Monster line of clutches.

Alot of it depends on what your future goals are so you buy the right clutch the first time.

It seems like every clutch manufacturer for these cars has had good and bad commments from users. What it boils down to is speaking with a shop who has installed plenty of clutches that will advise you on experience first hand and not hear say.
IMO, the three brands that have consistently produced trouble free operation are:

Mcleod
Spec
RPS

For a single disc clutch I would suggest the Spec 3+. It can handle over 900 ft-lbs of torque.

Thanks, I am leaning towards the Spec 2 clutch, I will also replace the flywheel and slave. My car has 240,000 kms on it and have never done the clutch. Doesn't slip yet but probably will this summer when I track it more often.
