I am really thinking of switching my insurance to Hagerty or something like that where the car is covered all year round. I am with Aviva currently and i have to call in nov-dec time to take off road coverage.
Sucks that i can't drive it on a nice day here and there during winter months.
It WILL snow again, not wishing for it, but it will.
That being said, I think I will be taking my car out the earliest ever this year, can always just keep it in the garage whe nthat dreaded late season snow comes.
Life is too short.
Enjoy your Vettes buds! Hopefully be joining youse soon!
It cost me $1000 to have a 60 amp panel installed and buy the electric heater I wanted. I leave the temp comfortable for the car and simply turn it up when I am working in there...great investment.
That's great news Corrado! Hopefully with your new place you'll be able to keep your Corvette at home during the winter months and then take it out many times when the roads are clean. Even if you only get to drive the car 2 or 3 times in the winter months, that's much better than not being able to drive it at all! This has been one of those winters where a lot of us that keep our cars at home have been able to take our Vettes out quite often. It's worth it to me to keep the insurance on during that time, even if the car sits more often than it's driven.
Trust me, there ain't any clean roads in Bradford in the winter time. This is a more rural area, lots and trucks and farm traffic. Roads not the greatest at the best of times...

That sucks! I think I'll stay down here in the far south! (Oakville)

We're in the new subdivision, approximately 749 meters off HWY 400.
We're NOT in a farm. Been going up to see the house almost every weekend and the roads there are no worse than in Vaughan.
And double Garage Mr Patman so car will be stored at home. Not sure if I will ever leave full year coverage on, but who knows.
