Actually, with the mild weather so far I'm planning on putting the insurance back on April 1st. That's 72 more days by my rough count.
You're right!! (I always did suck at Math!) I take mine out April 1 too and it's 74 days by my count now. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, but ONLY if it's LESS days and not more...!)
When my dad was alive he boiled sap to make maple syrup. Started boiling March break, done by mid April at the latest. Usually always had a hard rain during that time.
As much as I'm looking forward to it myself, I might wait until May 1st.
Depends on how early the snow will clear. When winter is done around here, it takes a few weeks before the gravel/sand is picked up or washed off the roads.
I ain't waiting no 70+ days. Had my car out today. Went for a drive up the 404 to Keswick and back. Roads were dry and clear, sun was out. If it wasn't for the -7 degrees, I would have had the top down too.
Saw a Calloway C6 Convertible on Elgin Mills at Yonge around noon too. Gave the guy a wave, but he pretty much ignored me. Maybe if I gave him the finger.....

Do you put winters on or are you on all-seasons tires Stan? With my Pilot SP's anything below 5c is a no go for me. Even the difference between 7c and 25c is night and day. These Michelins are super heat sensitive.

Hey Joe.
No still on the Michelins. I don't drive crazy stupid in the cold and the tires still have plenty of grip. Plus the car sits in an unheated garage so the tires aren't protected there. At least, by driving, I do get them to heat up a bit.
Bumped into another member of the motley crew today, decided to head to Little Britain for a tart. Nice little run Al and I had, roads are not too bad out in the Durham region.
