Default 1967 Colour Codes

I saw a 1967 GM Canada Corvette shipment sheet that showed all colour codes as two letters instead of the usual three numbers. Does anyone know why the different system? What is the letter code for Goodwood Green? Thanks.

Thanks. I was looking for the two letter code for Goodwood Green. The shipping document shows codes: AA, NN, DD, VV, FF, RR, YY, HH. Corvette used these two letter codes in 1965 but I don't understand why they're used on a 1967 shipping document. Every other document I've seen for 1967 uses the three number code.

RR is the paint code for my '65 original colour Rally Red. It is now painted the 1967-only colour 977 Lynndale Blue.

You can reference this chart for the rest. The C1/C2 forum is a better place for these questions.

It doesn't mention the 2 letter code the OP is looking for. Are you sure it was for the '67 model year you were looking at on that shipping sheet?

3 different sources now and none of them are showing those 2 letter abbreviations.

LOL. Looks like Goodwood Green got around.

My 65 was originally Gold Wood Yellow. The dealer code was 2900XX, the G.M. serial number plate code is X-X.

Corvette DNA app is a free and useful tool for our vettes. Includes colours, options and quite a bit other info. Here's a sample of the 1967 page:
