I recently used Barton Auto Glass in Tony Cheap to replace the windshield on my DD Chrysler, came to less than my $500 deductible ... on another note buddy took his C7 to the dealer for a genuine GM replacement windshield, with the GM sticker and part number on it, he insists on always using original parts to maintain value... he had to pay the difference extra btw...
FWIW, I had my C7's windshield replaced by a place in Oakville called Auto Glass Zone (on Speers Road near Third Line) a few years ago and they did an amazing job. You can't even tell that it was replaced, they put all the trim back perfectly and didn't put any scratches on the car at all.
Just a quick update in my windshield replacement….
Ended up going through Brian Cullen Motors in St. Catharines. They outsourced the install to Surge Auto Glass, Ontario St. St Catharines. The people at Cullen were great to deal with, no issues. I had a minor issue with trim adjustment which was rectified after a stop st Surge. Install was done good, no complaints, and I am picky…. These windshields (GM branded) are not cheap…$1800…and that’s just for the windshield. So if the need arises I found Basil, at Surge Auto Glass great to deal with, and he stated he would work with you to reduce your deductible.
1800 for a windshield??!! I'll go aftermarket for that price
Why does that cost even matter? Your insurance company will pay for it. When I needed a windshield in my Corvette the shop even paid part of the deductible, so my cost was only $300.

Alberta is a windshield disaster zone. LOL. I rented a car in Calgary and was asked if I wanted windshield insurance. I denied the coverage. While leaving the parking lot the car ahead of me chucked a rock at me and cracked the windshield corner to corner. I didn't even get out of their compound.
