I had a conversation come to mind about something 1BAD69 said at the Hockey game, and we figured doing so would cost him points. :lolg:

Havn't decided where to take my lessons yet, or ground school for that matter. It's going to be in a C-150, why waste money on a 172, and I'm going for the PPL, not the recreational, as per the advise from GHOSTRIDER. Until then I will have to bow down to FS 2004.

Sorry, PPL == Private Pilots Licence. There are many licences you can get, the recreational licence restricts you to flying in Canadian airspace only, and you can only have 1 passanger. The PPL allows you to have as many passangers as there are seats, and restraints. The PPL is also recognized around the world, you can get an American PPL without any extra training. FS 2004, is Micro$oft Flight Simulator 2004, the latest release. although some will scuff at this being a training aid, the U.S. Airforce requires student pilots to practice with Microsoft Flight simulator. Not as good as the real deal, but the cost savings makes up for that.

It's going to be a looooong wait. :D I still have to do ground school, then flying time...this isn't going to happen this year or next, takes awhile to accumulate 45 hours of flying, and $$$$.

Dwayne,
Just picked up this thread. Great move, but why the delay? I suggest you study your ***** off this winter and write the 3-hr final exam by 2004 Spring. By the way, with a Canuk PPL you can get a US licence (FFS) for small regristration fee. I got it about 12 years ago to rent planes in the US. Good luck CAPTAIN Hillier.

Yes, Yes I do! In the future we will all spend more money and time on our cars then we will care to admit. The price of gas will go even higher. The Liberal party will unfortunately, win the next election. Even more programming jobs will go overseas, only proving what a waste of paper my BSc. really is. (Wow, this started off with a humorous stint).

Dwayne I think that you missed your calling as a poli sci major. You are an incredibly bright guy and would have made an excellent political consultant/strategist and/or lobbyist,
oh yea, Steve your vette looks great
