I don't wash my car, but I use a leaf blower on it before I use my California Duster. It's great for getting some of the larger dirt particles off the rear of the car around the taillights and license plate area.

I use a back pack blower and it works great everytime!!!!! Bought it from Home Depot.

Default On the C-6 you will notice it gets dirty in the rear especially the tail lights.

purchased the electric toro 215 mph blower today and blow dried the vette. Neighbors are used to different things, did not look twice.

I just bought a Black and Decker Leaf Hog "High Performance" leaf blower.

230 mph.

I get some pretty strange looks too. However, one of my neighbors asked--why didn't think of that. He use to rake his leaves, now he blows them because he uses the leaf blower to dry his vehicle.

My Home Depot has a selection. I'm sure Lowe's does too. Here are their specs:
