Thin Spokes
Just purchsed a set of used thin spokes, and on one wheel I noticed a scrape probably from a wheel weight. Looks to be on the clear coat only. What can be used to remove the clear coat from the wheel? How can you tell if your wheel is clear coated or not? 
How can you tell the difference between chrome and a polished wheel? Any help is really appreciated!

Polished have a cloudy or milky look to them. If you wheel is not clear coated the cloth you use to polish them will turn black. I just removed the clear on mine
