Glass Master Pro. Makes doing the inside windshield on the C6 a whole lot easier.
I have one and they do help, but they are not 100% perfect because the windshield is curved and the tool is flat and not very flexible. Course I may be just using it wrong... I went back to the old standby rag.
I found something even better than Stoners, GM window cleaner, yes the stuff from the dealer. It even smells great, like a new car. Far less streaking than stoners.
I agree on stoners great stuff and I use a gizmo I got from autogeeks it has a applicator and buffer on a handle so you can get down to the bottom of the windshield easily.
Has anyone noticed the C6 windshield one, is hard as heck to clean like all other vettes and two, gets dirtier faster? Anyway, does anyone have a magic formula to actually clean the interior of a windshield with no streaks?
GM says use plain water on a paper towel wrapped around a sponge. make only one pass and then use a new towel. the film come from the glass making process and is only water soluable. chemical cleaners will not remove it. this i right off of the GM tech website
Don't recall what it is called, however, found it at Kragens. Two cloths...one green and the other is blue, come as a set for cleaning windows. You wet one, rub window, then dry with other. Unbelieveable results. Able to even clean tight area at bottom inside of windshield completely and not put rub marks on top of dash....After washing or detailing Vette I use to pay local carwash just to clean the inside windshield area. They haven't seen me in 6 months !

Alternative Glass Cleaning Process:
Use dedicated Lint-Free Surgical Towels, they have a tight cotton herringbone weave that is ideal for hard surfaces like glass (http://towelsbydoctorjoe.com/5.htm:) Fold both towels (one for washing, one for drying) in half and then half again Mist the glass surface with 1:1 ratio of distilled white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. As with all chemicals they must be allowed a certain amount of time to work (dwell) so leave area to soak for a few minutes and then start on the next glass surface, agitate the first area with the towel, dry the glass with the second towel by agitating in the opposite direction than that used in the cleaning, and repeat for second glass surface and etc. For each section of glass use a clean side of the folded towel
Always wash Lint-Free Surgical Towels separately and do not use fabric softeners but add a teaspoon per towel distilled white vinegar in place of a softener, the vinegar doesn't coat the fibres but instead works to eliminate detergent residue and the acid counteracts any alkaline minerals in the water supply. Vinegar (Acetic acid, pH=2) works well in the rinse cycle to make your towels softer. Detergent is an alkaline (pH=12, the opposite of acidic on the pH scale).
