zaino is good stuff but theres better things out there for the money, Im not sure how into detailing you are but, i use a porter cable with three different pads. mostly i use mezerna and then finish it off with clearkote. But if you want just a good wax and no polish, the 2 i like the most are s100 paste wax which you can get from autogeeks a forum sponsor and rejex which is good to.
I have a new C6. Will Z-1, and Z-2 work well? What do you suggest for 1st waxing?
I have been using Zaino for 5 years. The stuff is great! I use Z5 with zfx accelerator and then Z6. I always wash my car with Zaino car wash. Then go over it quickly with Z6 spray. My car looks mint!
Use what you like and whats within your budget. As long as you prep your car correctly just about any product will make your car look nice. Since you have a new C6 you have very little prepping to do.
I like the following on my cars...
Rejex
Zaino
Pinnacle Souvern
UPP
Mothers Reflection
Meguiars #26
Zaino works for me...it was easy to use...I hear rejex is about the same. All the instructions for what to do come with the Zaino kits. For the first time the recommend washing the car with dishwashing soap...claying it...then putting the zaino on. It was a fairly simple process.
Is the sky blue? To answer your question. YES YES YES.
It is a hobby of mine trying different products and I can say without a doubt that Zaino is the best there is. It is also one of the few, if not only product that can deleiver both looks and durability.
Thew only thing I would suggest is to use the ZFX instead of the Z1.

Absolutely. Rejex has application temperature limitations which restrict its usefulness in my part of the world. Zaino is also easy on and easy off.

Yes, Zaino does work and works well. I applied my initial application back in Novemeber (Thanksgiving week) and it's still beading almost as good as the day I applied it. My car is by no means a garage queen either.
I would suggest not getting the Z-1, but rather the ZFX which is better and easier to use.
Visit the zaino store web site as they have a lot of good tips and answers for commonly asked questions.
It's one of the easiest products I've used with durability that is amazing.

have used both and prefer Zaino...those Rejex restrictions are a PITA. Rejex does seem to be doing good on the rims (Std.Painted)..brake dust comes right off. I removed all 4 and Rejexed inside and outside of the rims. Zaino on the rest of the car.
just used zaino for first time [slowly] . it looks nice and it seems to be collecting less dust but need more time to be sure . i also used rejex and while it was a nice product i didn't feel it lasted well .
Each product is good as the car owner wants the product to be......for me,,,I have, like most on here tried several products, but I have always came back to Zaino's and have stuck with it....Best product.....hands down.....
I have used Zaino products since 2000 on my C-5,and the more applications, the better it shines. People have asked me what year my Corvette is, and when I tell them it is a 2000, and they comment "It looks brand new". I love people like that. Good luck, and keep polishing, Bob Piel.
