Why would you wait to wetsand until you've completely all buffing?

Because I am not sure if the runs in the paint are in the clearcoat or the colorcoat, so I will wait until the owner sees the car (he is out of town right now) before proceeded. They are only in a view select areas, so I wouldn't mind repolishing the areas.

Is that left over from polishing - (hazing or micro-marring?)

That's a beautiful job.

I think the picture is showing lens flare caused by so much reflection from the car.

Thats what I orginally thought, but under a Xenon and in the direct sun (as in the pictures) the surface is flawless. I'm still scratching my head on that one.

It is the same issue that came up in another thread on a black Vette. Modern paints give black reflections that have a milky or greyish appearance it certain types of light/angle or reflection. Nothing to do with hazing or micro-marring.
