Default Help???

I had put my briefcase in the front seat and it left two black leather marks on my tan color seats. Any idea on how to remove these I tried soap and water and it didn't make a difference?

Thanks,
Tonyp

Try using a leather cleaner.

I would try Z9 and then treat with Z10 when done. If that does not work try Spray Nine (do an inconspicious area first) and definitely make sure you treat with Z10 or worst case scenerio try alchohol but be VERY careful and definitely do a inconspicious test area first.

Hopefully Z9 is all that is needed.

Before moving to isopropyl alcohol, I would try some quality leather coniditoner / cleaner such as Kiwi Saddle Soap.

You could also try Leatherique if nothing else works.

Dye Transfer
Dye transfer is one of the toughest and rarely removable stains, try using a leather cleaner (Leatherique's Prestine Clean or Zaino Z-9 Leather Cleaner) if that does not remove the dye try 303TM Cleaner & Spot Remover or Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) sparingly to remove it.

How are you making out with this Tony? Did you try Z9? Maybe try it with a soft scrub brush if it does not work just on a cloth.

I have also had luck getting dye transfer out with Spray Nine. If you look at blgmns van detail you can see some stains I removed this way in the pics (6 and 14).
