I have had my new arctic white c6 about a month now and i noticed even when i drive it a short distance my entire front nose clip is covered with bugs. I hate to wash the entire car after riding it 20 miles. I really don't want a front end bra. I was wandering how other owners are handling this issue.

Before I started using Rejex on the front and rear fascia, I used a tar/bug remover and then immediately applied Zaino. Now that I have several coats of Rejex applied, the nasty little buggers come right off with a good spray from my garden hose...
I find that the best thing to use on bugs is a damp Bounce sheet. Take a static cling dryer sheet and dampen it, wet down the area, and then wipe the bugs off and rinse. I've done this for years and never had a problem, ie. scratch, left over residue, wax removal, etc.

That's a new one! Never saw that before. Thanx. I'll try it.
1. Make sure you have a good 2 or 3 coats of Zaino on
2. Take a clean cotton towell and completely saturate it with plain old water.
3. Use the saturated towell to wet down the bugs
4. Lay the wet towell over the bugs and let it sit there for a couple of minutes
5. Turn the wet towell over to the clean side and wipe the bugs off.
6. Take a clean dry cotton towell and wipe the water off
7. Hit it with a little Zaino spray detailer
8. Good as new
picked it up wed at boardwalk. Drove it home along the coast thurs. Washed it and went to my softball game and a good friend drove it home. I have surgery tomorrow.
It's the price we pay for having a white car. I have about 6 coats of Zaino on mine and they wash off really easy. If you would bought a black car the bugs are less noticeable but you can see the dust more. Wait until you hit a big swarm of bugs like the ones after a light rain.
My 3M clear bra seems to shed bugs almost like a Teflon coating. I had it applied to all forward facing surfaces: front facia, front 18" of the hood and both fenders, and the fronts of the side mirrors. It's all but invisible and I don't have a single rock chip in 6,500 freeway miles -- except for one small pit in the windshield.

I can't help thinking that plastic wrap on a plastic car is somehow redundant. Perhaps GM should reformulate the top coat on the Corvette to have the same anti-stick as the 3M bra.

I was going to say almost the same thing. A couple coats of Zaino and the bugs cant stick!

I have some distilled water in a spray bottle and simply wet down the nose and wipe the bugs off........it is really that easy!! Thank goodness for Rejex!
I guess that's one thing I like about driving a black car, bug splatter doesn't seem to show up as much. Don't get me wrong, it does show but I don't seem to notice it as often. Turtle Wax bug & tar remover works well. But I started using Rejex and have been happy ever since. Now if I can only get rid of the dust!
