Interior Scuffs
Hi,
What is the best way to remove any scuffs or marks on the interior doors/dash rubber like material?
Thanks

Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, available in the laundry detergent aisle of the grocery store or in the auto detailing aisle of Wal-Mart.
A couple of light swipes with the moistened eraser. Use it over and over again.

I've used the magic eraser, and it works for light smudges & such. The material they used on the doors is kind of whack though, as it seems pretty easy to scuff up. I have a few that the eraser won't get out, as the scuffs are damage to the surface of the material, and not just dirt smudges on the surface.

After you use the eraser, can you tell where you used it? Do you have to do the whole door with it, or just the scuffed up section?

Just the scuffed up section, they work very well for the lights scuffs as noted. Heavier scuffs are damaged, to easy to do.

I actually used WD-40 first followed by water and a clean soft cloth.
It took the scuffs right off of my cobalt red interior door panels.

Yep, you'd never know there was a scuff there. Don't have to do the whole door.
Minimize your scuffs by always parking somewhere that you can open the door as far as it will go.

I've been using an Armor All 'interior' cleaner in a spray bottle (I think it's a leather/vinyl cleaner). I just spray some on a clean rag and the scuff marks disappera. I follow that with STP Son of a Gun protectorant which I prefer over the Armor All product.

Another Magic Eraser user here. Cashmere interior scuffs easy, but the ME takes it right off.

3M's "Scotch-Brite Easy Erasing Pad" is essentially the same as the Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser. The $1.99 package contains 2 pads, each 5.2" x 2.8". They also remove scuffs on paint in your house, and are great for a yearly cleaning of Corian surfaces.

Another vote for the Mr clean magic eraser. Just go as lightly as possible.
