Currently I use Stoners Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel. I read so much praise about NXT glass cleaner and I FINALLY found some today. A lot of people on a detailing website like it better than Stoners so I thought I would give it a shot. Don't get me wrong, Stoners is fantastic. For the headlight lenses and clear piece over the speedometer, I use Sparkle as it won't etch like others will.
Stoners Invis. Glass is great. Also have Sprayway glass cleaner, but haven't tried that yet. It also has it's fans. Finally, there have been some recent reviews of California Car Care's glass cleaner that have been very positive. Since Stoners is easy to find, I'll stay with it unless the spayway works as well.
I tried Stoners and was disappointed. Not real pleased with Adams' either (though I think their detail spray is fantastic). My gut feeling is most of the non-ammonia window cleaners are about the same.
Best window cleaner I've found is Sprayway. The can looks a little goofy with their retro '50s look (ditto with the June Cleaver era scent), but the product is excellent. No streaking.
A good quality MF towel (made in Korea as opposed to China) helps a bunch. Cheaper ones leave millions of little micro-shards of fiber on the inside of your windshield. Be careful, one vendor's towel said made in Korea on their website, and then you get the product and find out it's made in China - I complained and still no satisfaction.
Another vote for Stoner's Aerosol. Just started using it and I'm a believer. It just flat out gets the job done. The only other glass cleaner I've seen that works as well is an industrial product called Zep 40.
Stoners works fine for me. I agree with streetpix that a micofiber towel of "questionable" quality leaves evidence of it being there (shards of fiber).
Windex and fresh newspapers works wonders on mine. Newspapers dont leave streaks and with the non-streaking windex product it leaves them clean and visable.
