What do you use on the plastic pieces of the engine compartment. Were thinking about doing a show this weekend and I want it to look good. 303 seems to give me an oily look if it gets wet, do you recommend anything else?
If you can find any Adams In & Out Spray or Chemical Guys I think they call it "Back to Black" or something like that. Both work well but since your show is this weekend you will have to count on a friend with some, especially the Adams since that product is off the market.
With no well stocked friends may try watering down the 303 a bit or just damp cloth when you get to the show and let the natural come through. The beauty of the mentioned sprays above in my experience is they tend to give an even consistent look to many parts that are naturally maybe a different tint.
Never tried the watering down of 303 so that suggestion may get some other feedback here.

Why would your engine compartment get wet?
I've used In&Out and it's great, but yeah, unavailable. Adams' VRT does well in there, as does Z-16 and 303. The main advantage of the spray is that it hits spots you can't normally get unless you use Qtips, thin brushes, telescoping alligator clips, etc.
