frequent this forum A LOT??!!! I find myself looking at the car care forum much more than any other forum on this site. Six months back I didn't know squat. Now I feel confident answering a lot of basic questions for newbies, like I once was. Detailing is so interesting to me! I find myself ordering from autogeek very often, it's like an addiction. Just ordered Souveran paste wax today!!!

I am glad to hear we are often visited also, I highly suggest using our forum too. It was designed to offer explanations, best practices, and user hints for the product lines we carry. Use the tool bar on the sales page as wanted ... and thanks again for your business !!

I'm just like you... No matter which car forum I am on, I tend to gravitate towards the Car Care sections. Some forums don't even HAVE such a section, which stinks.

The only thing wrong with this, is that our own Car Care forum here seems to get very little traffic, and I can check back two hours later and see maybe 1 new post sometimes. But aside from that... I mean, I've been detailing (as a hobbyist) for years and thought I knew a lot, and thought I was "doing it right" by refusing to use any powered polishers. I was a die-hard elbow-grease guy. But since coming here, I learned to fully appreciate (or perhaps lament?) the flaws that paint can acquire, and I saw that I didn't know a tenth of what I thought I knew. I learned that there are some things (OK, a LOT of things) that you simply cannot do by hand. I learned about products I'd never heard of before (such as Menzerna).

I'd say this particular forum... the Care Care one... has been the most instrumental in squeezing out the most enjoyment from my Corvette ownership experience thus far.

I got some good info from here, but for the real hard-core detailing stuff, I think everyone goes to autopia.org.

oh yea autopia.org has so much hardcore information it's not even funny! I tend to lurk around here a lot also and the parts section (trying to find me some ccw classics in black) other than that I might take a trip down off topic to see what crazy post are going on.

I have found this forum very helpful and interesting. I am a bit disappointed as others mentioned about the lack of traffic and also at time grow weary of the Zaino and Rejex post that shout out we are the best. I like to experiment with different wax brands and find reading about the results others have had with them very useful.
