Default Whats the best product to seal your car?

Iam going to be finishing soon on buffing my car with sandpaper and a rotary. (hopefully in a month or 2 lol). I was wondering what do you guys recommend to seal my job in. I bought Duragloss from Autogeek and plan on using it and letting it sit for a few days. Then I plan on putting Maguiars Step 3 Carnauba wax over this. I want a near bulletproof type of covering so that future scratches are going to be more difficult to happen. I also want to protect my car from all the nasty stuff out there such as acid rain and bird droppings.

Thanks

Poor washing techniques are the biggest culprit for future scratches and swirlmarks. As far as a last step, two basic choices: Sealant or wax.

If durability is an issue for you, go with a paint sealant. Zaino is king.......If your a wax guy and want durability, Collinite is hard to beat in the winter months for protection. 845 liquid or 476 paste, both work very well.......

Post some after shots when you're finished.........

Default Zaino?

You guys seem to like Zaino...but ....nobody mentions the exact name of the product. Is this the stuff?

I think using Z2 is more what you need.

Default hmmm

The Z2 looks like just another polish? Anyone ever use the Wolfgang stuff or the clear that I mentioned above? They are the same price. Very curious. The clear Z stuff looks very interesting like its another layer of protection you would put on top of a polish like the Z2. Any thoughts?

You can use the ZCS on top of any product, but I use several Z products.
After the proper prep, do as many coats of Z5P w/ZFX as you want. No more than 3 in a 24 hr period. I do follow up with a few coats of Z2P, but if you were to skip a step, this would be the one to skip.
End with ZCS topped with a Z8 wipe down for the ultimate shine and durability.
ALL Z products should be used extremely sparingly!
