I'm curious what everyone's workflow is when they polish. Working a small area seems to be the preferred method, but do you work that small area then move to the next small area until, let's just say, you've polished the entire fender? Then go back with a microfiber and remove the polish from the entire fender? Or do you do the whole vehicle with one polish then go back and remove? Or....?
I work on one small area at a time, that is, when I'm done polishing that small area, I wipe off the polish residue before I go on to the next small area. Keep doing one small area at a time completely until the entire car is done.

My small areas are usually half of the body section, unless its the hood and then it takes 4 small sections.
I tend to work small area's and then when I am done with the whole panel I go back and remove all the finished polish. Its easier to see exactly where you have already been, even though it doesnt really hurt anything the re-polish a small section.
After the polish breaks down, wipe with a clean MF towel and inspect the surface for any random scratches still left over. If another or third application may be necessary to clean up the "window", you'll get a good idea on what it's going to take to get to do the whole car.......
I clean and check each area worked before starting a new section.....
