I keep a bottle of Poorboys Bug Squash on hand, and I transferred a little to a small spray bottle and keep it in hatch with soft MF towel. For sap specificially, I spray (saturate) the spot, allow to sit for a minute, and buff off.
If its dried on sap, something like Stoners Tarminator or 3M Wax and Adhesive Remover can help. They will however remove the wax underneath so hesitant to use unless really needed.
