My Toro unit has two speeds; a 185 mph and a 235 mph setting. I've noticed that they both work pretty well to dry my car; though the 235 mph setting lets me dry panels "farther away" from me a little easier. I'd think 160mph MAY work in a pinch; but the higher speeds does speed up drying time and coaxes more water out of the tight spots.
