Interior Material Question
I have a '91 ZR-1. What exactly is leather and what is vinyl in the interior? I have been having problems when using Lexol leather cleaner and preservative. Once it drys it seems to look mottled and seems to "smear" onto the glass etc.... Is the material on the dash and the upper part of the doors really leather, or just a patterned look alike? I can tell the console pad and other console trim is vinyl as well as lower part of the driver's door. I think the Lexol is not absorbing into the vinyl, so I should either use plain water or other vinyl dressing. Thoughts?
