years ago .... they have no knap and as such any dirt or contaminent gets rubbed (scratched) down the surface while drying. Use a Waffle Weave MF towel and consider a leaf blower or Master Blaster as optional.

Only once or twice years and years ago, I believe when they first come out. Found out real quick how worthless they were. However, as I got older and wiser, I now use the "the pooling rinse process."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAmb9DWdnFc

takes only 1 large 100% towel to dry, followed by the leaf blower, blowing all the water from their hiding places.

If you do the following I don't see any reason for failure:

1. Rinse with open hose nozzle
2. Leaf blower
3. Waffle weave microfiber

I like to use a little detail spray on the waffle weave towel, as well. Remember, the idea is to wick the water off the surface with as little pressure as possible. You aren't scrubbing the surface at this point, it should already be clean.

Got it straightened out..........I accidentially used an older waffle weave
towel instead of the new Big White Waffle Weave that got a few weeks ago. ( sometimes when I retire a cloth instead of throwing them away Lyn keeps them to use around the hose, clean patio furniture, etc). Anyhow this one was on the drying rack and I grabbed it.

While I do have an electric leaf blower I seldom use it. However, I do the other proceedures mentioned. Today I used detail spray with the Waffle weave. Worked great. I'm a happy camper. Thanks for mentioning that !

I've used detail spray before but think I may have used too much as seemed to streak. Today took approach that less is best, went lightly and got good results.

The only negative with this that I've noticed is that it eventually causes the waffle weave to lose some of it's water absorption capabilities. Normally there is so little water left after the nozzless rinse and leaf blower you are doing very little rubbing over the surface.
