Default Compression washers for PC

I gave my SIL a link to Autogeek to make some purchases for my BD. One was for a backing plate. Don't know why but she also bought the washers.

Is this a maintenance item. Should it be replaced every year? or should I just use them around the house.

If you use the polisher often, it is a good idea to replace them about once a year.

Thanks for the response. I was a few years overdue.

I've never replaced my washers on any of my DAs/backing plates. I've never heard anyone needing to replace their's either unless they loose them. This is not an item that will wear out...(save your $$)
