"Original Rapid Dry Towel"
My son inquired about above...whether I had seen anything on this on this forum.
He saw it on Amazon. It appears to be a Chamois/towel combo???
Anybody????

These? The absorber?
I use these all the time!
My method:
1. rinse car
2. Foam cannon
3. Two bucket method
4. Rinse
5. California blade with absorber and air compressor to dry.
6. Kenotek

Burning Brakes
If you are asking about the Absorber, I have one that is probably 4 years old. Still works great. Like brettmess24, I use a California blade after final rinse to get rid of most of the water. The Absorber gets the rest, and I follow up with EGO cordless blower.

Believe it or not, I've had 2 ABSORBERS since I was given them at a "Detailing How-To" class at Bloomington Gold in 1992....no kidding ! They still work fine....long as you keep damp for use. Great invention....functions just like an expensive "real" natural Chamois.
I was purchasing a 1967 Corvette, and this was the 25th anniversary of the '67 Corvette at Bloomington (last event actually at Bloomington, Illinois, I believe).

I never touch my car to dry it, especially with a towel or chamois. Started with an electric leaf blower and moved this year to a Master Blaster Sidekick. Gets everything out of the cracks and traps and leaves the car perfectly dry.
