Cleaning in the Wheel Well
So probably a stupid question from a newbie but I'd like to get the built up grease, brake dust, and grime out of my wheel well (see photo). Am I safe to simply spray with the hose's 'Jet' setting, use a degreaser and/or Eagle 1 Etching spray on the aluminum, and then hose off? Or am I risking damaging something or pulling grease from an area that needs it? Thanks in advance.

Jack it up, our on jack stands, mix up a detergent cleaner for the power washer siphon, safety goggles and spray away. After cleaning you will be soaking wet and smiling from ear to ear on how good it turned out. If you can find a wand car wash that is not busy usually mid morning on a weekday is a good time may be easier.

For home , get ZEP Purple Degreaser, use it full strength. Spray it on, let is sit for 5 minutes, then use he "JET" spray setting on your nozzle if you don't have a power washer. If you have a power washer go at it. Do Zep again, if it does not come clean the first time.
Then use Meguairs Hot Shine(Available at O'Riellys) on the Wheel Well to dress it up.
