Car Cover Cleaning
Accepting the fact that outdoor covers can cause scratches on the car, I have no other choice than use one since I do not have a garage. I have a name brand cover which I have been using for two years but it has become dirty and is not water repellent as it was when new.
I can clean the cover but can I use a heavy duty spray repellent to “re-energize” it?

Many outdoor covers will scratch the paint. What I do when the car is outside overnight is use my nylon cover with the soft contact side under my outdoor cover. As far as cleaning your cover I also would recommend you contact the manufacturer.
