I am looking for the best product to restore the black plastic trim on my 2013 corvette. Sun has done a number on it and none of it seems to be the same shade.
Used that for years, awesome black restorer, but it is like black Rit dye, be careful what you get it on and the applicator you use will be forever black along with black fingers awhile if you don't use gloves
I first dipped into ceramic coating back in 2012. I was totally not experienced at proper preppings but using Gtechniq on my '05's badly faded hard plastic and rubber trim was unbelievable to say the least.
Last year, I dived into ceramic, using Kamakaze line and ceramic coated both '05 Vette and the new Honda last August. I used left over ISM on under the Vette's back hatch as well as engine plastic/rubber trim on both Vette and Honda, ISM top coat is still performing as it should.
In addition, Optimum Tire and Rubber Coating was applied on both car tires 4 months ago, now after car wash and dried, I can simply walk away without any maintenance application of dressing and such.
I was so impressed after 3 months on coated tires, all four fender well plastic on the Vette was decontaminated and treated with Optimum Tire and Rubber Coating, very happy with that as well.
In addition, Optimum Tire and Rubber Coating was applied on both car tires 4 months ago, now after car wash and dried, I can simply walk away without any maintenance application of dressing and such.
I have yet to buy an Optimum product that didn't satisfy me. Such effective products at reasonable prices!
