I have a small bottle of pure polysiloxane I got from work. I have tried adding some to a few different LSPs and it appears it works well together. Has anyone else ever tried this?

I'm sorry, works well together with what exactly? And what is the application?
Polysiloxane is used in several paint protection products, but I have no idea what amount is used in them, or what, if any, type of special blending or additional ingredients are required for it to be effective. I am guessing you are the only one here who has tried what you have tried.
I’ve put some in bead maker, and tried that. It’s hard to tell if there are any advantages over just BM. It seams to apply just the same but needs to be shaken well prior to application. It comes off without any residue beyond just bm alone.
I would be more interested in durability than gloss. BM in and of itself is not very hydrophobic. While ( especially where I live ) I prefer sheeting, the self cleaning properties interest me
I also tried mixing it in the echo and reload mixture, but have nothing to compare it to yet. I will try to think of a test to see how I can compare it. The car is coated with can coat at the moment so that will mask anything I put on it as an lsp.
I would even be inclined to send some to someone to see if they can figure out if there are advantages to it. I have a 5 gallon drum of the stuff at work so I will not miss it.
Thanks again for your generosity! For ***** and giggle I will add this to BM and do a side by side. I was thinking to also add some to and SiO2 product as well to see if it can be kept in suspension.
