Resources for learning best practices and products for optimum cosmetic car care?
Hi, I am a new '64 owner. My car has excellent paint, chrome, top, etc. and I would like to keep it tip top plus preserve everything well. When I go to a website such as The Rag Company or wherever, there are a hundred+ different products and I don't even know where to start. Ideally, I could find a step by step reference guide that also specifies the best types of associated products for each recommended step. I am willing to put in the time for best results. I'm sure there are a lot of opinions and not a single "correct" answer or process. Hopefully, there is some sort of authoritative guide that would at least provide a reliable step by step baseline of end to end best practices.
Can you suggest any informational resources for someone like me who would like to learn how to best perform show-quality cosmetic car care?

Esoteric is a good place to start, they have some of the best products available, they also have classes you can attend, see the link below.
I think they have a good selection of videos on line also, but I can't seem to find them right now, they do reply to email inquires, for one of my inquires they called and talked me instead of emailing.

Thank you
@M61A1MECH and @CheckeredFlag, thank you for the great educational (and general product) leads! I have started diving into both sites.
Now, I have transitioned from way too many products to choose from and am now in the mode of way too many videos to watch.

Look up Apex Detail on Youtube. He is outstanding. He even has a detail video for a C2.
